Ni-P thin films are produced by electroless process. The deposited
films are amorphous. They can be later crystallised to obtain mixed
amprphous-crystalline and policrystalline structures. The volume
fraction of amorphous phase and the morphology of microstructures were
studied in the presented paper.
The results of X-ray study, calorymetric analysis and microstructure
observation carried out on transmission electron microscope are
reported.
The obtained results reveal kinetic of crystallisation, transition
from amorphous to crystalline microstructure and changes of their
morphology. They can be used to controle final grain size and to
produce nano Ni-P material.
