Internal friction measurement was first used to study the melting
property of Pb inclusion dispersed in Al matrix for serious AlPb
samples. One internal friction peak located at about 330C was first
observed. It is suggested that this peak is related to the Pb bar
coarsen process. The onset temperature of this peak decrease with
decreasing the size of Pb inclusion, which means that the nanoscale Pb
inclusion also shows the melting point depression.
