EUROPRACTICE is a European Union initiative aimed at stimulating wider exploitation of state-of-the-art microtechnologies by European industry.
Its ultimate goal is enhanced European industrial in the global market place.

EUROPRACTICE services offer users cost effective and flexible means of accessing Microsystems technology, Training, Integrated Circuits, IC & Microsystems Software.

EUROPRACTICE is aimed primarily at SMEs and large companies, but universities and research institutes are also encouraged to take advantage of the services it makes available.

EUROPRACTICE services in Microsystems field help them take their ideas from the concepts to manufacturable, tested and packaged products through access to expertise, design, prototyping and manufacturing facilities.


EUROPRACTICE is also supporting microsystems start-ups by running a competition to provide assistance for 10 projects to be presented to venture investors. All companies working on Microsystems are eligible, including components manufacturers, those offering specific process steps (front-end, back-end, packaging), dedicated microsystems equipment - or innovative MST based product manufacturers and service suppliers (CAD tools, design houses, packaging, integration, test, etc.). Companies selected are eligible for a number of days of free assistance with:
• Writing a business plan, or review of an existing plan
• Validation of the business model
• Analysis of the IPR position
• Market segmentation for the selected technologies
