Abstract

To increase the strength of half-finished products for machine parts, that are working at conditions of gradient stress-deformed state (shafts, axes, torsions, springs and oth.) by the method of accumulation of intensive plastic deformations (IPD) the using of gradient scheme of deformation (plastic bending or torsion) is most rational (at our opinion). It permits to decrease the work of deformation in 1,5 times and provide the programmable strengthening of most loaded zones of part.
In Donetsk Physical-Technical Institute of National Academy of Science the new scheme of accumulation of IPD by the equi-channel hydromechanical extrusion of rods in helicoidal matrix with alternating angle of screw slope. On experimental samples with size 17x17x120 mm from M1 grade copper the multi-cycle (5-6 cycles) deformation of rod with deformation e=2-3 per cycle was realized.
It is established, that degree of distribution of hardness gradient along the radius of the rod cross section decreases after some cycles of deformation.
The diatrope maximum of texture (111) in deformed samples was shown by X-ray structure analysis. It is the evidence of cubic space lattice distortion in direction of orthorombic. It is registered the diffusion scattering with weak intensity in the range of diffraction angle close to reflection (200). It permits to suppose the appearance in structure the nano-size klasters of quasi-2 dimensional shape (25-35 nanometers) with changed interplanar space.
